Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data (if you sign up): email, display name, and — for email accounts — a securely hashed password (bcrypt). We never store your password in plain text.
• Google sign-in: if you use Google, we receive your name, email and profile picture via Emergent-managed OAuth. We do not receive your Google password.
• Preferences you set: interests, approximate location, timezone and notification choices.
• Your activity within TodayInPulse: saved stories and followed topics.
• Feedback you submit through the report tool.

What we do NOT do

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Browsing TodayInPulse as a guest requires no account and stores no personal profile.

Cookies

We use secure, httpOnly cookies solely to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your controls

You can edit your preferences any time in Settings, and permanently delete your account and personal data via Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your user record, saved items and followed topics.

TodayInPulse is in public beta. Features and data handling may evolve; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
